With support from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Germany’s Development Bank, KfW, we have developed expertise and experience in the power sector and an understanding of the risks that IPPs face. IPPs in Kenya have a number of challenges, which mirrors the situation in many other African countries. The forum is co-hosted by ATI and IPFA (International Project Finance Association), to which ATI is a member.
